What decides this matchup
The FiveM server list is ordered by upvote power, not by player count. That is why Certified RP appears first even though the live player numbers are currently better on Backstreets LA. A server with a smaller community but more upvotes will still be discovered by more players, because it is the one sitting on page one.
The distance between these two is 609 upvotes. That is the concrete number a third server would need to make up to slot in between them.
Population and capacity
Backstreets LA runs 200 slots and was 35% full; Certified RP runs 200 slots at 30%. Capacity matters as much as raw player count — a busy 64-slot server feels fuller than a half-empty 512-slot one, and queue times are what players actually notice.
Both target en-US, so they draw from the same regional player pool.
