Why is my FiveM server not showing up in the server list?

Split the problem in two

"Not showing up" describes two completely different faults, and the fix for one does nothing for the other.

Genuinely unlisted. The server never registers with Cfx.re at all. Usual causes:

• No valid sv_licenseKey, or a key issued for a different IP.
• sv_master1 explicitly blanked in the config, which opts the server out of the public list.
• The game port (30120 by default) unreachable from outside — firewall, NAT, or a host that did not open it.
• The server crashed on boot and never finished starting.

Listed but invisible. The server registers fine, resolves on its join code, and sits somewhere past the point where anybody scrolls. This is by far the more common case, and no config change fixes it.

Telling them apart in thirty seconds

Put your cfx.re join code into the checker on our checkout page, or open your server's page on this site. If real data comes back — hostname, player count, slots — you are listed, and this is a visibility problem. If nothing resolves, it is a connectivity or licence problem, and you should fix that before spending anything on promotion.

If you are listed and buried

Position is decided by upvotePower. A brand-new server starts at zero and competes against servers that have been accumulating for years. Without intervention the climb is very slow, because the discovery loop is circular: you need players to get upvotes, and upvotes to get players.

If you are genuinely unlisted

Work through the four causes above in order. The licence key is the usual culprit, particularly after a server moves to a new host and the key stays bound to the old IP. Re-issue it for the new address, restart cleanly, and confirm the server appears before you look at anything else.
