Platform Server Agreement
Also called Cfx.re ToS, FiveM terms of service
The agreement every FiveM server operates under, covering monetisation, content and platform manipulation.
The Platform Server Agreement is the contract attached to your licence key. It covers what you may sell, what content you may ship, how you must treat player data, and what counts as abusing platform systems.
Three areas account for most enforcement. Monetisation rules limit selling gameplay advantage or Rockstar-owned content. Content rules prohibit shipping assets ripped from other games. And platform-integrity rules prohibit manipulating Cfx.re systems — which is the clause any server-list promotion sits closest to.
That last point deserves saying plainly rather than burying. Buying upvotes is not something Cfx.re endorses, and any service telling you it is officially sanctioned is lying to you. The honest framing: this is a grey area the platform does not bless, published enforcement has centred on monetisation and content breaches rather than promotion, and the risk is the server owner's to weigh.
Read the agreement itself rather than a summary — including this one — before making decisions that put your key at risk.
