Keymaster
Also called Cfx.re Keymaster, sv_licenseKey
The Cfx.re portal that issues the licence key every FiveM server needs in order to appear online.
Keymaster is where you register a server and receive its licence key, which goes into server.cfg as sv_licenseKey. Without a valid key the server will not start or will not list.
A key is tied to an IP address or marked as portable, and keys are the unit Cfx.re uses for enforcement: a server that breaks the Platform Server Agreement loses its key, not merely its listing. Keeping the key secret matters for the same reason an API token does — anyone holding it can run a server as you.
Keymaster is also where escrow-protected assets are linked to an account, which is why asset licensing and server identity are entangled. If you migrate hosts, you update the key's IP there rather than generating a new identity, so the server keeps its history.
No legitimate promotion service needs your Keymaster login, your key, or admin access to your server. If one asks, that is the end of the conversation.
