Server list

Also called FiveM server browser, discovery grid

The in-client directory where players browse and join FiveM servers, sorted largely by upvote power.

The server list is the browser built into the FiveM client. It shows every registered server with its name, player count, tags and locale, and it is where the overwhelming majority of new players find somewhere to play.

Default sorting is by popularity rather than alphabetically or by player count, and that popularity signal is upvote power. The list paginates, and attention drops sharply with depth — the difference between page one and page six is not a proportional drop in clicks, it is close to total invisibility.

Players can filter by name, tag, locale and whether the server is full. Filters change the competition you are in: a server tagged drift competes with other drift servers inside that filter, which is why tags are worth setting deliberately rather than stuffing.

The list is also the reason a technically excellent server can sit empty. Server quality is invisible from the list. What is visible is position, name, player count and icon — four things that decide whether anyone ever sees the quality at all.
